Apple sudoes legalese

WAT: apple osx developer tools require super user power in order to agree to license terms

brew doctor fails after OS/X upgrade:

Agreeing to the Xcode/iOS license requires admin privileges please re-run as root via sudo.

I do the reasonable thing: I pretend this didn't happen or that it makes sense, and bring up xcode from the launchpad, obediently type in my admin credentials, and carry on with my day.

I am sure there is a perfectly legal reason for this.... but somehow I get this feeling like the world around me just got rearranged into an even more ludicrous version of itself.
